    Short Entry

    Making a few thing straight.

Article one: Up In The Clouds is on extended hiatus, obviously. I kinda mcfucked up and didn't plan anything.

Article two: Until I figure out what I'm going to do with that problem, I have begun to work on a horror comedy fic. More info as I finish writing chapter, will publish story after writing five with three chapters published.

    PROLOGUE FINISHED

The project I labelled as Icarus (now called Up In The Clouds) has a finished prologue and will be submitted ASAP! Forgive me if it's shoddy, I honestly have done little editing and will go through it soon. For now, I just need to get some cover art done.

Never Underestimate Tiny Groups · 11:09pm Aug 6th, 2014

When I unleashed the Inconceivable onto FimFiction, I decided to go the extra mile and put it in a few groups, mainly the larger ones. Now that I think of it, that's a pretty stupid move because works can easily get lost in the massive additions to The Writer's Group and such. Well, thanks to (whoever it was that found the story) for adding it to not one but SEVERAL smaller groups about Spike. Now I'm suddenly seeing more views.

Anyways, I might as well make this blog about a few things relating to further writings and stories currently on my account. Let's start at the beginning.

All These Lights

This was my first story... as far as my account will show because I deleted my actual first story "Manics: Thunderball" and its remake (when it wasn't even FINISHED) that I believe was just called... actually I don't know, I forget. Both were about humans/aliens that came to Equestria, some wanting to conquer, some wanting to cooperate, some wanting to assimilate. The original had a comment calling it a "hidden gem" in the Sci-Fi fic part of the My Little Pony Fan Fiction archives, which made me absolutely giddy. And then I lost interest or something didn't make sense, either way it died. Another story - "Incidental" - I tried making was about an OC (who would eventually be revealed to be a Changeling who forgot what he was), but that appropriately sucked hard so I put a bullet in it while I still could. Anyway, moving on to my first completed ONE-SHOT.

All These Lights was a Christmas story I wrote featuring (mainly) Doctor Whooves/Time Turner and Derpy, even though I'm honestly indifferent on that ship. It also featured a weird Fluttershy sub plot. Also, did I mention I wrote this in a few hours on Christmas Eve 2012? No editing. This is also what appears to be my best story with the most likes and favorites, I believe.

Too bad I had to screw that up later with the next story, but first some changes specific to All These Lights: The two chapters regarding its sequel - the next story to talk about - have been deleted.

Escapade

I really bit the big one here. I published this thing's first chapter several months after All These Lights and declared that it was the sequel and would answer the question of WHY Time Turner vanished, when I really don't need to answer that because... well, let me put it this way: this was a hole in the story that was dug by a trowel. I attempted to fill it with a back hoe. Filling holes is okay, but everything got dirty because of it.

I tried going places that would contradict earlier portions and it was just a royal mess. I feel sorry for abusing Dinky so much. I cancelled the thing a few months ago. Next story.

Ashes... wait, this isn't a story you wrote or are working on, what the hell?

A while back around the time I did the earlier Manics and Incidental, i came up with an idea to a post apocalyptic-ish fic. Okay, it wasn't exactly post-apocalyptic, it was more... DURING the apocalypse, in such a way that even though social order was degrading that it could still be turned around. I wrote a few paragraphs of the protagonist waking up after getting severely beaten before the beginning of the story, aaaand that was it. I got that far before stopping it and putting it on hold indefinitely. Part of this was because of Fallout: Equestria. Such a well written work, such characters, what adventures, AND IT'S A ROLLERCOASTER OF PURE PAIN AND MISERY. I didn't feel good after reading it despite me actually liking it. It's hard to explain, but the closest I can get to a good explanation is "I like this entire story like I like the ending of The Mist, it hurts badly, and it works, but I need a minute." (Actually by "minute" I mean "more than a year", I read the story in mid-April 2012 and I haven't touched anything relating to it since, which means I haven't gotten to know the ever... invincible... Blackjack in Project Horizons)

Anyway, it was a good idea, I even made a decent image for it, but both the image and the introduction have disappeared into the void when I cleaned out my stories box. I have no plans to restart it, however, if someone else thinks this is a good idea and wants to take the reigns, either by themselves or while consulting me for any background information on the sort of "world" I cooked up, go on ahead.

Inconceivable

I wrote this story in January for a project someone was attempting based on the critically... panned movie, The ABCs of Death. Naturally, I took "I". Also naturally, not enough people signed up, and the organizer hasn't responded to anymore messages and I think they've abandoned this site. So, four months after finishing it, I went through it again, cleaned it up a bit, and submitted it as a one-shot. I personally consider it to be my best, but I'll let other people decide. Keep circulating the tapes.

The Wanton Way

This was an idea that's not quite off the table for me, but has taken a back seat. Basically, a dark elf alien being is discovered in a stasis tube, and its existence brings up memories an untold chapter of Equestria's history. Cliche? I know. This idea is basically me saying "I'll take this stupid idea and see if I can write it in such away that it's great."

The Icarus

My current project actually sounds cringe worthy when you get down to it: it's basically a crossover fic with BioShock Infinite. Why? Because. How similar? Pretty similar, but sorta different in the appropriate areas. The workings of the city are different and there won't be Tears. There'll be enough difference for it to not appear to be a rewrite of any of the games in the franchise, but enough similarities to be recognized as a crossover. Kind of like how Fo:E and Ace Combat: Equestria are similar to their respect in aesthetic, but not in story.

Anyways, that's it. You may be seeing things eventually.
