Well, here it begins.

So... Story Time with PiercingSight.

I've had many an idea in my head for quite some time now as to what kinds of stories can be written. What kinds of stories are missing from our knowledge of the MLP universe.

My stories aren't to twist the current canon, or to be these massive post-apocalyptic, violent, explosive, time-warpy, ship-fics that tend to become the most popular. My stories are... more subtle. They're the kinds of stories that are more real, more character based than anything else. I'm not into creating Mary Sues. I'm not into exaggerating the small details of the show.

What I want to do with my stories is fill in the gaps. What we don't know about our beloved characters that makes them who they are, and had influenced their paths.

Right now, I'm working on telling Fluttershy's story. For the most endearing of the ponies, we know very little about her past other than she had a hard time flying as a filly. What happened to make her that way? Why does she now live in Ponyville? What did the ponies in cloudsdale do when they saw that Fluttershy had fallen to here almost assured death?

There is a lot more behind that, and that is the story that I intend to tell. These are the stories that I have had in my mind for a long time, but never had the time to get down.

So here, now, finally, I can get them out to you.
