    Snow

Why is there so damn much of it? It was 60 yesterday, it's going to be 50 tomorrow, but it's snowing like crazy to day.

Seriously, the wtf is up with St. Louis and nonsensical weather?

    Happy New Years!

I love New Years. It's the night the world starts over, a clean slate if you will. Let's hope things make a turn for the better this year.

    Le roi est mort

Sir Christopher Lee, one of the finest actors I've ever had the privilege to watch, is dead. While the world is lessened by his loss, he truly did lead a full and rich life, far more so than most.

Right, first off, sorry about the empty blog. Hit enter a bit early.

Second, the point. There's a new, rather cool news-feedish profile here on FimFiction: Fimfiction Drama. You've probably already heard about this from Rainbow Bob. That's how I found out. So, why am I repeating it? Because of this blog post. Or rather >>2266497 this comment. Which has a link to this essay. Which dissects Leviticus 18-20, and rather conclusively shows that God does not, in fact, have any problem with gay people. He does have a problem with you making use of a sacred male prostitute as part of a fertility cult dedicated to another deity (well, if you're Jewish anyway. Leviticus never applied to anyone else anyway), but that's probably not too big of a concern in the modern world. So, why go out of my way to post this?
1) I'm a Christian who supports gay rights (and am Bi myself), so this makes me giddy
2) Religious Studies/Philosophy double major. Analysands of sacred texts (or anything to do with religion, really) is absolutely fascinating, at least in my opinion. Of course I'm the guy who dropped $30 for an 900+ page history of the Crusades as light reading, so what do I know.
3) I haven't made a blog in a while, and blogging about a blog is easier than doing something interesting myself. Unless you want to hear the mind numbing details of office work (In brief: copy and file a document. Repeat ad nauseam.)

Sounds good to me. The problem, though, my friend, is in not reasoning with reasonable Christians. The problem is reasoning with fundamentalists (of any belief) -- in that it can't be done.

P.S. I hadn't heard about the profile from anybody, but instead found out about it when a group of the same name was formed. Having glanced at the user's blog entries just now, I don't think I need the pain.

I present this to the drama-prone users of the site:

Sadly true, I suppose. If people were reasonable, half of the stupid things that happened, wouldn't. Ah well, I live in perpetual, unfounded hope. That's why you should never, ever let me open the chests, I'm always sure that there's no trap.

As for drama, while it certainly is a headache to get caught up in it, watching it another matter entirely.
Right, Discord?

... dissection bookmarked, although it's missing citations.

Graci.
