Happy Canada Day everyone/pony.
Why not celebrate by watching everyone's favorite misanthrope wage war on his neighbors to the north?

That was a good episode. It's always nice to Canadian stuff in the media, as Americans may not realise this, but a very large amount of entertainment stuff is based in and around America, since why aim your entertainment at 30 million Canadians when you can just change a few names and have it aimed at 300 million Americans? For years I could easily name several key American figures from history(George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, etc.) but not know even the first Prime Minister of Canada simply because of the way sitcoms worked.

That's pretty interesting actually and makes sense. Kinda sad, but still makes a lot of sense.

"The Wheel and the Butterfly" actually drove me to watch the show for once and that was my same exact thought.

Weee, me too!
You know, this really shows just how much Pinkie softens Dan up in the story.
He's actually liveable now! And it's possible to talk him out of arson, instead of tackling him and wrestling away the matches!
Truly, that filly is a miracle worker.
We've met so many other characters in Wheel and Butterfly, I hope someday we meet Chris's yeti-human hybrid cousins.
