"I did not wish tribute. Nor song. Nor monuments, nor poems of war and valor. My wish was simple: Read my story, I said to you. That was my hope..."

So, I logged on today to peruse through some fictions, perhaps even write a few more words of the upcoming chapter... when something caught my eye.

It appears that my story has reached a new landmark of 300 thumbs up. This was not too long after breaching the 300 favorites mark (currently at 311). I... find myself at a bit of a loss for words. It boggles my mind that that many people actually find my story not only entertaining enough to actively track, but to publicly express their enjoyment thereof.

Your appreciation has blotted out the sun of my insecurity. So, for you, I will gladly write in the shade.

And to you, noble 300 (ish), there is something I must say... the only thing I can say, for it is the undeniable truth. To each and every one one of you:

Look forward to the next update of Magic, Mayhem, and... Murder? Oh my... in the afternoon of this Wednesday, the 6th. And let me know in the comments if there's anything about the story that you've liked and would like to see again, and/or hated and would like to see avoided in the future. Or... you know... just say hi. That's cool, too.

P.S. Also, let me know if you guys want me to do another "story-blog" in the future (such as 'Dat Canon and 'Dat Next Chapter), or if that's a played out gimmick and I should stick to normal updates.
