Holy hell, the last couple of days have been SO busy. So, as this blog title suggests, I'm pretty much gonna ramble about my weekend a bit. Sunday (and into Monday) I had my high school graduation and senior all night party. The graduation ceremony that was on Sunday morning was extremely boring and long, but I'm happy that it's finally over! Graduated with high honors at the the Minnesota Gophers' Mariucci Arena. I'm actually writing this just... 40 minutes after getting home from the party, which was from 8 PM to 5 AM. It was pretty fun overall. Bowling, LOTS of bowling, and we even got to do some poker, blackjack, Texas holdem (however that's spelled) and more!
The really fun day was Saturday. I went to MLP-MSP, and that was an incredible experience. It was my first con, and it certainly won't be my last. I got to see a voice acting panel with Andrea Libman, Michelle Creber, and BlackGryph0n. They were fun to listen to, and they did a reading of one of the pony comics in their voices (Gryph0n just playing misc characters). Once that panel was done, I even got their autographs and had some pictures taken with them.
Most of the rest of the day consisted of idly walking around the vendor hall, drooling over art after I spent $225 on assorted artwork. I got some buttons, a print of Vinyl and Octavia in a dance, a couple prints of Littlepip, a print of Dash and one of Vinyl, and a Wonderbolt Academy print. The best thing I got though was a big Fallout Equestria blanket. Pricey, but totally worth it. There was a panel on SFM where a few of the animators and modelers talked. I can't remember their names, but they're big. One of them gave us an exclusive sneak peak on the work that he's doing for the Fallout Equestria radio-play, which looked absolutely spectacular.
The best part of the night started at 8 PM. That's when the electronic concert started. It was insane. We had DJ Tetsuo start the show, and then this young guy that goes by the name of Garnica blew us all away. He was one of my favorites, and he was incredibly energetic. Who else was there? Oh, right, can't forget about Mic the Microphone! He performed Nightmare Night for us, and that blew the roof off the place. Seventh Element performed, and another young guy that goes by Art Attack. He was incredible and, quite honestly, one of the best there. The last couple of names you may or may not recognize, what with them being The Living Tombstone and Odyssey Eurobeat! Odyssey performed "Luna" and "Discord" beautifully. The concert went until 1:15 AM, and the place was still packed. They loved us and we loved them.
It was quite honestly the best night of my life. I might have more to say, but I'm a bit sleep deprived as it is. I'm gonna go conk out and, a bit later on, post some of the pictures I've got (which aren't incredible, but better than nothing). Until then!
