The Walking Dead; Or, My Plans · 6:21pm Jun 4th, 2014

The planets have aligned, hype has been gathered, and I'm now back. The logical step now is to outline in somewhat more detail what I'm going to be doing, so far as I've actually planned that in advance.

First of all: I'm rusty. I haven't written very much (even for my own purposes) after the past year or so, and I no longer have the exorbitant amounts of time I used to have to practice up in. Until I'm used to working on things again, my work is probably going to be marked by shorter chapters, especially as I try to find my feet on stories that have lain long dormant. That's just realism, folks. However, here's what I'm thinking, story by story:

Misadventures In Music: Definitely still on. I have the stub end of a chapter already, which I'll probably cut short and then use as a break point on which to build new material.

Limits: Very much still on. Don't know when I'll be doing the next chapter, but then again I never did. Next chapter will probably deal with the story of how Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy got together, so for the five or six people who still remember this story exists, good things are in store.

The Drabble Bag: Practice pieces, you say? Why, I don't know why I'd do any of those after a protracted absence from the fandom. Needless to say, you can expect a few bits and bobs to find their way here in due time.

Fear Of The Fall: This one's a little iffy. I have tentatively begun a new chapter; whether it comes to fruition is a whole different question. I miss this old bag of shenanigans, though, and I'd like to resurrect it on my own terms. However, it was always a complete pain in the rear to write.

Draw: I've considered it. On one hand, I liked and still like the concept; on the other hand, I have other stuff to do. Of everything, I'm least likely to continue this, but I'm not conclusively ruling it out since it could be good practice.

New Stuff: New stuff I'd like to do might be more themed drabble collections (think Pink & Blue and Life Gives You Apples). There's also a somewhat big project coming down the pipeline, although that still has a few details to be worked out. I don't want to start too much new stuff, since the aim is to finish what I already have going to give people some closure at last.

So, that's what I'm planning over the coming weeks/months/years. Of course, it isn't a conclusive list, since I very rarely conclusively plan, but good enough to be getting on with for the moment.
