So, chapters 1 and 2 went well, I'd say, or, better than most stories of this kind that I've read. The lack of comments still makes it difficult to gauge reactions, but the number of favorites the story has gotten tell me that at least a few like it. Anyway, I don't want to make a blog post complaining about the lack of comments, so I'll get to the reason why I'm making this.
In short, chapter 3 is going to be delayed. Like, a lot. Chapter 3...you're gonna see some characters act vastly out of character, and there is a reason behind that, a reason that may or may not have something to do with the "difficult choice" part of the story. That said, no one said it was easy to write. I know I'm kind of treading on thin ice making a self-insert Human in Equestria story, so I'm trying not to mess it up. Well, I'm going to make this clear to anyone who reads this who is skeptical of the story. I chose to insert myself because it's easiest to write for a character when a character is me. And yes, I know that it's been done a million times, he knows everything about the world and the ponies. But keep in mind. He thinks he does. This story may head towards mature tag for having a dark side, be warned. But no, Dan will not be the perpetrator. He will not start waving weapons around, at least not guns and swords and that kind of thing, just because he can. No. But there will be some things happening. Things I tried in my last stories, that....didn't work out too well, I had no idea what I was doing with my ideas at that point. But now I'm starting to get a plan together. And it should be interesting.
Also, there will be a chapter with Vinyl Scratch and music sharing, so if anyone here likes dubstep/hardstyle, you'll be in for a treat. For now, I'm going to get some sleep, and I'll work on the story some more in the morning. Oh, and I might need a pre-reader/editor, if anyone would like to help with that.
