Bed of Roses edited; sequel status · 8:02pm May 31st, 2014
There are days when someone's feedback makes you feel like you're just not cut out to write fiction. And there are days when someone offers a lot of genuinely helpful advice. Occasionally, you get both from the same person. And so it is that I've considered some suggestions and made a few slight revisions to A Bed of Roses. I've swapped a couple scenes in the later chapters, partly for dramatic reasons and partly to help set up the sequel, but otherwise it's just a couple dozen cases of polishing and a dash of exposition for a handful of developments that weren't sufficiently explained in-story.
I ended up spending the last six months working on some G.I. Joe analysis and writing reviews for the fourth season MLP episodes. (You'll find the reviews at halfbattle.com/mlpreviews.html if anyone's interested.) With those projects completed and A Bed of Roses newly edited, I'm now ready to get back to work on that sequel. The title is "And Still on Thee Rely," and I may post a brief excerpt as a preview once I reach the editing stage.
So, considering this is back from May, is it still being worked on?
Don't get me wrong here, I mean, work at your own pace. Don't let me -or anyone else- rush you, I'm just curious
