Whoo, so much stuff to do. Chapter 5 of Colgate and Punch is halfway done. It would have been finished already had I not joined a Mechwarrior Online Clan for Bronies. These folks to be exact: http://www.equestriaroyalguard.com
I've been tied up translating Battletech lore into Ponytech, much in the same vein as the Fallout Equestria school of alternate universe building. Interestingly, there doesn't seem to be any Pony-mechwarrior crossover art (except this one pic I found) or stories, not like we have for Fallout and Warhammer. So I guess we are breaking new ground. Might be a good basis for a second story on FIMfiction, though alt universe crossovers are notoriously hard to do well. Fortunately, summer is coming up soon, which means more time to write.
I can't wait for chapter 5 to be finished. I stumbled across your story and really loved it. It's the first Colgate story I have read, and its very well written.
But, I know how that goes, something eating up your time and providing itself as a distraction. I'm writing a story myself and I find my attention span quickly slipping to a new game or story instead of my new chapter.
I take it you haven't read The Thessalonica Legacy.
