Slight delay+Music that gets you in a writing mood. · 7:37am May 24th, 2012
Hello, just thought I would let everypony know that the next chapter is taking a little bit longer than expected. This is due to the fact that I just got a new computer, plus some style and content concerns. (I'm settling on who the antagonist(s) will be. It does say "adventures in ponyville" in the title after all. And that, unfortunately, means taking time and reading a lot of other successful fics to see what kind of baddies work and what don't. This show has a plethora of villains to choose from, but no recurring ones. Unless of course they bring back the changelings for season 3, which would be awesome.)
Now, since I can't give you all an apology hug over the internet, here's some music instead.
I don't presume to know what gets other folks hankering to jot their ideas down, but I do love music almost as much as writing, and these are some of the songs that get my creative juices flowing:

I'm a sucker for both the faux celtic pipes and the tribal drums.

For me, modern classical and neoclassical composers are just as good, sometimes better and making those heart-wrenching melodies as the old staples like Mozart and Bach.

This is the operatic version, replacing the strings with singers, but the original version is just as good. This version will forever be my favorite however, because I have such fond memories of the Homeworld games, which feature this song.

I include this song because I use it to clear writers block. Something about the beat, or the piano, or something. I cannot really describe it.
