I just came to a realization.
Two years ago, on this date, I published my first story – The Iron Pony.
Holy shit, look how far I've come. When I started the story, I wrote it as a directly-taken-from-the-movie crossover with bad formatting, R63'd characters to 'spice' things up, a less-than-average understanding of grammar rules…
…and a lot of you who loved that train wreck – no pun intended.
Now, after heavy editing (or, at least, planned editing), it's got original characters, proper formatting, correct grammar, different dialogue (I hope), and even a whole new part added into it. I've gotta say, guys, it's been a wild ride.
I'm sure I'll get around to re-working the story and putting up the remastered version on the original story (the original chapter will be marked accordingly), so I guess that's a whole 'nother thing to look forwards to. I hope that you guys will love it as much as the badly-written original.
I guess I should do another thing to celebrate my first story's 2-year-anniversary, especially since I didn't notice it last year. So, tell me, guys and girls, what attracted you to the story? What things do you think were perfect, and what do you think should be fixed? PLEASE leave a comment below about these things. I love talking to you guys (when there's things to talk about, though), so won't you leave a comment?
Oh, and maybe later today, I'll post a blog including one of the new scenes. Maybe two, even.
