    Ugh, why are things?

Wibbly wobbly blah. Time. Time and things. I have time. I should write now. Yes. That is the thing I shall do now. Indeed. No distractions here. On the internet... I'm writing now.

Occasional Insanity can be Very Refreshing

In Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Ford Prefect says that he likes to save his sanity up, which means he goes crazy every once and a while for health purposes.

I very much agree with this practice. I do it myself every once and a while. Sanity is such a burden to bear sometimes. And it can sometimes stifle the creative process.

    Ninth Week of Overtime Ending

I've been working 60 hour weeks now for a little over two months. That's 12 hour days 5 days a week, plus commute, plus weekend overtime. Today is the last day of overtime. This game will either work today or it won't. And I can get back to sleeping more than a few hours a night, yay! Which means I get to do more writing. And have a life. Yay!

My Pony Heroes! · 6:23am May 21st, 2014

There are a lot of people in this fandom that I respect. Doctor Wolf, Doctor Cobra, Silver Quill, to name a few. But, there are a few that I consider heroes of creativity and accomplishment. My personal fandom idols, as it were - those that have inspired me to get back to writing and get back to my passion for story telling, not just in fandom but in real life as well.

Scribbler:

Scribbler is a director and producer of amazing fan-fic readings on YouTube and she also writes FANTASTIC fan fiction here on FimFiction. Listening to her readings has gotten me through many a slog at work and her writing has inspired me to actually get back to writing my own work. She's also making full scale audio plays now! My absolute favourite medium for story-telling! As a ravenous consumer of anything and everything put out by Big Finish Productions, I am very picky as to the quality of my audio dramas, and Scribbler does NOT disappoint! She's my hero!

The Lost Narrator:

Lost is another fan-fic reader on YouTube, but she also does other readings and voice-work and editing and production work. She's also working on Scribbler's audio dramas now! Though I had been aware of Cupcakes for a long time, I had only every read the derivative "Pinkamena Diane Pie" works, and never read the original Sgt. Sprinkles story. Lost's reading of Cupcakes was my first time hearing the original story in its entirety. It was amazering! ^_^ She's my hero!

Pierce Smoulder:

Pierce, or Bald Dumbo Rat, is the writer and producer of Doctor Whooves & Companion. He is also the most popular and recognizable voice of Derpy! He writes Lovestruck Derpy and Discorded Whooves tumblr comics, and lots more! He is so productive! He's my hero! You should totally support Doctor Whooves & Companion!

Squeak Anon:

Squeak Anon is the producer of Doctor Who Adventures! The first Doctor Who / MLP crossover audio drama I ever heard! And a continuing inspiration in this regard. When Pierce and Squeak collaborated on The Wrong Way Backwards, I knew I wanted to write Doctor Whooves stories too! Squeak is my anonymous hero! People should totally support Doctor Whooves Adventures!
