They Say Patience Is A Virtue... · 3:59pm May 20th, 2014
...That I don't have in a large supply, apparently.
The Worst Nightmare Of My Life - Just waiting on cover-art to release this. It now has a solid 10,200 words between its first two chapters. It's in pretty good form, although I might have another editor giving it one last pass. I've got it ending on a rather nice cliff, which is going to be compounded by the story's format. I might be overstretching things a little bit, but for the first couple of chapters, they'll be alternating between the protagonist, who is in Ponyville, and her two friends, who will be halfway across Equestria. Bat Ponies. 'Nough said? The first few chapters dealing with the protagonist's friends will be a glimpse into a fictional society of bat ponies, as there really is not any established info with them. Love blank canvases.
For other updates, still trying to make more time for writing in general. I've got several partially written chapters, although it looks like Overcoming the Day will have the next update. It'll be a nice Slice of Life chapter with some time focused on Twilight and Luna. Alone. On a date. Finally. So, yeah, for all you naysayers who were all 'oh no, cliched scene with mysterious ponies' can relax. I still find it funny how vocal readers can get over one little scene, when they let others just like it slide by.
Trying to get some more time towards Fallen from the Light as well. Looking to tweak and edit the existing chapters, and then move on from there. I've got some decent plans for this one, although I've shortened my idea for it just a little bit to make the size more manageable. Hopefully it is satisfying once I finally find the time for it.
Everything else is at one stage or another beyond this. I don't have any list of what will be coming when, but slowly picking up my writing speed. Up to between 600 - 900 words per hour, although it requires a fair amount of rewriting and editing once done. That may just be me being extremely picky about my writing, though.
Feel free to ask any questions you may have, as always. Thanks for all of the favorites, follows, comments, views, etc.

You should write all your story chapters in blog posts. You write more blog posts than story updates now. xD
One author whose work I read has a rather fantastic update speed with very large chapters. He says his secret is using voice recognition technology to write out the chapters. Just a suggestion, I don't know if that will work for you or not.
