Status report: 1,114 words, unrefined.
WAIT A SECOND, that's LOWER than what it was last time! That can't be right!
Well, I was looking through my plans, pondering effective ways to organize the story, realized that I messed something up, and now those 2 thousand odd words from last time are for a future chapter. Maybe one chapter from now, maybe two? Eh, we'll see what happens. After I finish this story, I'll likely go back through and fix all the stupid mistakes I made. Like the teaser at the end of the last chapter? Regretting that. If I want to make cliffhangers, I need to make natural cliffhangers.
The good news is that sometime in the future there will be a chapter that will come really fast! Bad news is, current one will be a bit slow.
