Dear Readers,
Okay, so I don't usually do this sort of thing because I'm not exactly the best at saying why you should do something (odd for someone like me, I know), but when I found this I freaking lost it.

That right there? That's a little flash comic from a guy on DeviantArt by the name of VanRipper. I'm sorry, I've misspoken: that's a huge flash comic from a guy on DeviantArt by the name of VanRipper. Like, 400 pages huge. What is it? Well, first of all, it's called Like Fine Wine. If that title sounds familiar to you, then I salute you, good reader; if not, then I bid you to look it up here on FiMFiction. Or you could just keep reading, and I'll tell you all about it.
Like Fine Wine is what I'm going to bravely call a "ponyfic classic." It's a Sparity one-shot that's just bordering the 20,000 word mark, and it is, in short, a masterpiece. Oh yes, you may say, but it's just a piece of fanfiction, and a shipping one at that; put all that crap aside and you still have something amazing. It's a gorgeous story that's beautifully told, with spot-on characterization and dialogue that manages to blend humor together with sweetness, charm, and drama. It also happens to be a clopfic, and I gotta admit, it's the only one I've ever read that seemed to integrate that bit into the plot of the story totally naturally. It's almost like it needs that scene to tell the story the right way. It's the first fic I ever favorited on this site, and it's one of the big reasons I got turned on to Sparity in the first place (uh, no pun intended).
I could go on about it some more, but I'd prefer to leave it up to you all to go and read it. Or, as I've started this blog with a link to the comic, go check that out! This guy's drawing style is really unique and cool, and he does a great job of adapting the story into something a little safer, without ruining any of the romance in it (remember, I said it almost seems like the clop is necessary). It's one of my favorite stories in this fandom, and now it's my new favorite comic in it. Go, shower this guy in praise and favorites and all that good stuff.
Then go read the original: boop!
Okay, I'm done fangasming over this. Well, maybe after a few more reads of the comic (it's that good). God, I have a Sparity problem.
Talk to you again soon!

P.S. "Hmm. He said 'Soon.' I wonder what that means..."
Apple products really need to start supporting flash.
