First work, and starting on the second chapter

So after a long time of not writing anything, and never having written a pony fic before, I'm starting a fairly lengthy project. First chapter is posted up and I'm just shy of 1000 words on the second chapter. I got a bit bummed last night over the fact that I had gotten even likes\dislikes but I'm trying to remind myself that this is the Internet. :P To that end, I'm going to do my best to ignore the like\dislike counter and only take into factor actual comments.for now.

I hope to have the second chapter banged out in the next week or so. It's still going to be mostly lead-up, with the more fleshed-out introduction of a couple of secondary characters (Arial and Wingding, who will be regular side-kicks for Comic), but I want to close the chapter out so that I can start the third chapter actually at Bonne Papillon, the place where the action will get started.
