Hey there FimFiction. It's been a while since I've inhabited the website saturated with brony fantasy. I know I have only 9 followers on here and the only friend I made I have neglected for a year, but to anyone who gives half a damn about what this girl is blogging about:
-I'm not dead. Yay!
-I probably won't continue Mixing Colors, or I Just Don't Know What Went Wrong. Both had lame premises, and while a handful of you liked it, I've lost the stamina for both of those. They both seem kind of childish to me at this point, although I doubt anything that I could write now would be much better.
-I have basically no ideas for a fanfiction, even though I think it would be fun to write one again. In my year-long pilgrimage to not-here, I learned I was an artist (or a cartoonist, rather. I was going to say 'drawer' but I am not, in fact, a piece of furniture) at heart, and writing doesn't come quite as fluently as drawing does. I learned this when I was trying to ease myself back into writing with a small (19 chapter) fic about some of my OCs. Suffice it to say it took 2 chapters for me to realize I'm not the writer I used to be. (I can try though! Give me a chance!)
-I am a rambler. I ramble. A lot.
-I could use some writing tips. Pleeeeaaasseeee?
-I tagged this under Mixing Colors because it's been my most successful fiction so far. I can give you the ending though. In short, they escape the muggers and make it back to Appleoosa where Splatter uses her money to upgrade Brae's shack into a full-blown cottage. They have many babies. "Our love is like a well-written fairytale, my dear," says Braeburn. "More like a poorly-written fanfiction," replies Splatter Paint. Fin.

If you aren't already, follow Bad Horse. He has excellent writing advice in his blogposts. His stories about Celestia and Luna are hilarious as well. I am sorry that you didn't finish Mixing Colors, though.
