Sooo Torrents got rejected from EQD.
Yeah.
"Not enough of a plot", apparently. I can understand that, considering it's 5k+ words about a single scene. It's a oneshot, but it's not really a complete story, and I don't really feel like going back and making it one. Well, whatever.
All this really does is make me want to work 88 billion times harder on my next story so I can get it in the first time.
WOO MOTIVATION!

EQD is somewhat specific in what they take. It's not even the best of the best anymore.
You do have the talent though.
I'm disappoint that torrent didn't make it to feature box.
I'm pretty surprised by this. I certainly thought it was good enough.
My sympathies. That sucks.
I am surprised too. I found it quite touching to read. Stories which effect me emotionally are good stories (usually).

Finally got round to reading Torrents, wish I'd done so earlier, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Quick question, what will this next story be? Will you be like Creeper? With his massive Creeperverse, lots of little stories criss-crossing, referencing, building a huge awesome world?
Or more like AA? With a ton of one-shots, each individually enjoyable?
Either way, I look forward to it.

But seriously:
The story I'm working on now is a long, fairly dark noir/action arc starring Nurse Redheart. That's all I'll say about it right now.
I actually have around 6 other stories planned out after that, but I'm not going to drop details on those just yet. One thing at a time, right?
