'Dat Last Chapter + The Next Update... · 8:35pm May 24th, 2012

Soooo... yeah.

Apparently making the Featured box for even just half a day is more of a boost than I ever would have expected. I'd like to formally welcome the... 30? Really? Uhhh, wow... 30 new readers who favorited the story over the last 2-ish days.

For those of you who just joined us, I have a certain way of doing things. I stick to a self-imposed biweekly schedule. That's 2 a month. One around the 6th and the other around the 21st (with some shifts or delays dependent on RL and weekends). I also always announce the exact intended release date for each new chapter a couple of days ahead of time on this very blog. Sometimes, I even write a little story about it. Sometimes, some people even find those stories slightly amusing.

Also apparently, people seemed to really enjoy that last chapter. I'm glad... I really enjoyed writing it. For those of you who might be have wanted it, I'm transcribing Pinkie's song in an uninterrupted format and attaching it to the end of this update... because, why the hell not? It took me forever to write it, you guys'll have to put up with me putting it where people can see it. Anyone who wants to do anything with it (I can't imagine what, but I've gotten a couple PMs about it) can assume tacit permission from me to do so.

Right, as for the next update: You can expect me to upload it either late on June 6th or in the afternoon of June 7th.

Again, I want to reiterate how much I appreciate every single one of you guys that has kept up with my little crossover project thus far. Special thanks to those who have commented at all. And Extra Special thanks to those who have commented with reviews, corrections, tips, and intriguing questions. You've all helped me grow immensely as a writer and as a fan of the show. And if it wasn't for all of you, I'd have probably given up on this story way back when... but I guess I'm such a shameless attention whore that I can't help but keep coming back to bask on all the feedback I get from you. Just want to let it be known how much I appreciate it.

Anyway, that's enough blathering from this particular bum.

P.S. If any of you are interested in what my writing looks like when I'm not making bad jokes/puns and 80's/pop culture references (AKA being serious), I have written one other standalone work. It was my submission to the writing contest from way back, and I put a lot of love into its short 3k words... even if it didn't really turn out half as good as I'd hoped.
