Hi, it's Jondor. No, I'm not dead, just resting, or possibly pining for the fjords or something.
I'm just (hopefully) coming off of a creative dry spell. In the last two months since I actually posted a story update, I've written a grand total of about 500 words. Roughly 495 of them happened in the last two days. Partly work, partly sleep (or lack of), partly apathy, partly waiting to see how S4 finishes off. Lots of reasons, but I think I'm finally starting to get my mojo back.
Informal Study is proving to be difficult to get back into the swing of (the first scene of chapter 5 has so far resisted all attempts to come together cohesively, but I think I have a plan now), so instead, I've been chipping away at a couple of other things. The two biggest ones are a couple more VitSoL challenge entries.
My TwiDash entry (prompt: A Vacation) is just barely starting to coalesce into something coherent, but it will take a while to complete as I intend it to be a full, chaptered story.
However, my PinkieShy entry (prompt: A Gift) is going to be the same sort of short one-shot as all the others so far, and might even be out before the end of the week. I just hit upon a great idea about an hour ago and the words are flowing, so cross your fingers.
Also possibly on my plate are a TaviLight (again chaptered, so it will be a while), more sexy VinylDance, and a post Castle Mane-ia short story that I've had in mind ever since the episode aired.
