It's starting to happen. I just submitted two poems to the New Yorker, and plan on submitting them to other literary magazines shortly. Christ, you have no idea how nerve wracking this is. It's like the first time I posted something on here, except with much higher standards. I know my chances of getting even one of them published are extremely slim, but... Damn. Oh well, if it doesn't turn out, I'll take them to some others. Since I'm coming up on my Senior year of high school, I'm starting to put together my stuff needed to get into a college. My GPA's meh, my classes up until next year are meh, but I'm hoping that having a decent portfolio of essays, poetry, and short stories will tip me over the edge and get me accepted. Anyway, just thought I should let you all know that I'm reaching out and cramming my writing down the throats of people in the real world. Also, none of my poems have anything to do with ponies, blasphemy, I know.
Oh come you bitch! Link em here, we (I) want to read them.

I wrote the first for my Creative Writing class, and the second in my free time.
