I haven't watched the anime before, so I don't know how many differences there are. But I think there were only two death notes in the manga. One always belonged to Light while the other was originally Misa's, until Light decided that it was too dangerous top leave it in her hands, so he has her give it up and it is eventually given to Mikami.
