I know I said before that I wouldn't cancel this, that I started it and damn if I wasn't going to finish it. But, the more I think about it, the less sense continuing the story makes.
There are a couple things that could be blamed for this, but in all honesty, for the most part they just aren't true. I could blame the lack of popularity, but that never bothered me on my other stories. I could say I've been losing interest in the source material, which honestly is only half-true at best (hell, if I ever make an indie game I'm citing TWEWY as inspiration for gameplay all the way). The truth, though, is quite simple.
I didn't write this story. Not really. Really, it was Sachie Hirano. He was the lead writer for TWEWY. He wrote this story. All I did was slap some multicolored horses on it and say it was me. And he did a hell of a lot better at writing this than I did. The HD rerelease of the game is 20 bucks on iTunes. If you truly care about this story, go pick it up. It's a good game, much more substantial than most anything else you'll find on the app store, and the story is unabridged, unbastardized, and not shackled to the inane ramblings of a 14-year-old brony who tries to call himself a writer. And that's exactly how it was meant to be.
