The alternate reality/dream games continue... · 7:53am Apr 8th, 2014
I talked about it before, but the other night I had a chance to 'play' the My Little Pony game again. Nothing too exciting, I was exploring somewhere outside a village and used an ability that called in somepony to help you. There was a choice of three, Spitfire or some pegasus that helped you move faster, an Earth that helped you find more/better items, and Princess Celestia who must have done a bunch of awesome things because I snap picked her. I woke up shortly after, but it was cool to get to go back to that dream universe.
Then, last night in my dream I was playing what was meant to be the second Diablo III expansion. I was playing it on a console, which is kind of weird since I only have it on PC, with a little dark-haired girl of 7 or 8. I have actually had recurring dreams before where I've seen my daughter that never was, she was blonde like me so whomever this was, it 'twas not her. I remember reading message boards or whatever and people were upset because this expansion came out really soon after Reaper of Souls. The best part, and something I really hope happens in this reality, was that it added three new classes, one for each main stat.
The Strength class looked like a knight and was seemingly based off the Diablo 1 Warrior in some aspects, it may have specialized in 2h weaponry. (This was what I chose to play)
The Dexterity class dual wielded fighting sticks and had medium-heavy armor on.
The Intelligence class looked like a stereotypical adventurer and had a backpack as part of his visible gear.
The areas we were going through started out as a forest and went into a big, ruined castle that was partly submerged in some sections. I think the enemies were humans/nephalem, but I can't quite recall what it was we were fighting.
Definitely an interesting experience.
Update: So I was looking at the forums today after the Diablo patch, came across someone talking about Skovos, the Amazon's isle. Could this be what I saw in my dream? The concept art shows submerged buildings.
