My Little Pony game: merely a dream, or vision of an alternate reality? · 10:14pm Jan 30th, 2014
Do parallel universes or alternate realities exist? I'm not sure if any one on the planet could tell you a definite answer to that question, but it sure seemed like I visited one in my dreams last night.
I was in what was obviously 'my' house, except it wasn't any home I have ever lived in. The dream began with a focus on an autographed baseball which my mom explained to me I had caught at a game. Of all the baseball games I went to I never got any foul balls or had one signed. :(
I had a baseball glove so I wanted to go toss and catch a ball but all I could find was the signed one, so I put those aside and got on my computer.
Here is where it got weird. I loaded up a game and it was a My Little Pony game of some sort. It had a typical log in screen, then it brought up the server select screen, which I tried to replicate below. The server names were at the right side and you clicked on them to go to the character select. To the left of the server buttons was portraits of all your characters on that server, but instead of the actual characters like I used for the image, they were characters you made, the one I was playing was a pegasus with orange mane and a lavender coat. It also had griffons and dragons as race choices as well, as I recall mousing over one character from each of those along with the different pony types.
Mousing over one of the portraits would pop up a box with more detailed info on the character and a larger image of them. The character select screen had the larger images of them towards the center, and some detailed info/Play button on the left.
I'm not sure what the actual gameplay of it would have been, when I played I just logged in my pegasus and was flying low near a village before I woke up.
What made this so weird for me (and I did wake up during this dream and was unable to get back to sleep, despite only having about 3-4 hours of sleep at the time), is that I can't remember ever playing any game that had an interface like that. My hastily made image definitely does not do it justice, because it did look really good, as if I was remembering an actual game...
Obviously whatever the game may be that has a server/character UI like that, if one exists, isn't about ponies, so does anyone know what it might be?
Well from reading your Dream, it looks like to me that a game like that might exist OR your mind came up with a VERY good idea for a game, I mean that. If it exists, I'll try and find it
if its your minds idea then get yo ass into development for that game! oh and its most likely you had a lucid dream, I congratulate you having one, seeing as the game will be crap tonne of fun if theres single player and I get to be a human! and kill blueblood in the process too!
and create a new profile for multiplayer and go on A RAMPAGE!
If this game going be made, I'll succeed in mundream of becoming a hermit!

2:Hire some peeps.
3:Make that damn game!
4:Have fun.

1917258 Oh, how I wish it could be made a reality... I mean, how awesome would it be to be able to make your dreams come true? (Although with the dreams I've been having for the past few weeks, that wouldn't necessarily be a good thing... constant nightmares, and no Luna in sight to save me from the demons that haunt me.

I have daydreamed about another MLP game before, it would be set in the Pre-Equestria era. I think that would be nice since it would allow for some impressive areas to explore with unicorn castles, medieval Earth pony villages, and Greco/Roman pegasi cloud cities.
I like the sound of the pre equestrian era, and trust me on this, if you do want to do this game,your dreams will come true, and other peoples as well, it might become very famous among the population, believe in yourself and YOU will accomplish.
