Hello everypony, Derpy Hipster here, just wanted to make a small note to my (tiny) audience of readers to say a few things i needed to get off my chest
1. My little brony, and unexpected visitor is indeed my main focus at the moment.
2. Source Error is being continued, though my idea bank has run dry, i will do my best to get new chapters out as soon as possible
3. I have not forgotten about Fleeting memories, It pains my to not release an update for so long, but I wish to inform you that i am doing my best
4. Yes, i am working on 3 more unreleased stories atm...yes, i am insane.
5. Please send me a PM on anything at all, I'm a lonely pony, and would appreciate ideas, criticism and/or a casual hello
6. Another shoutout to the 2 ponies who have helped me the most in my writing career; Samasara (the famous author of Study Buddies and the one who inspired me to write), and Pinkie'sPetGator (my loyal and undoubtedly genius pre-reader). There are many others i would thanks, you included for supporting me, but if i list them all, i may crash the website, so I'll stick with thoses two for now.
7. I've had a little problem recently...my love for reading fanfiction has seemed to have gone missing, i still enjoy writing, but reading just seems to be less important...can somepony help me re-kindle my love of reading?
That's about it, thank ya'll for reading, I will appreciate any PM's and comments i get from this blog post.
PS. The world has too many haters, sometimes all you need to do is just turn away from them, what can they do? At the end of the day, we will always have out Brony community to stand by us, what do they have?
For your problem with reading, has it been going on for awhile now? If it has maybe you need to take a break from it (though i'm no psychiatrist) and do some other things such as going about your daily routine in life or even changing some small parts of it. I have no idea if this could be some form of temporary apathy (once again no psychiatrist) but to each his own on how long they are going to stay like that.
Heck I have 13 stories on my to read list and even though i've already read half of them I didn't favourite it because the stories have yet to make me favourite it but still catch my interest to read it later, hence leaving it there for the time being.
And... I just ranted on

Well, i used to love reading fanfiction, then samasara inspired me to write, and from then on, well, i just prefered to create my own world rather than read about someone elses. However, each time i do start on a fiction, i still love it, but normally i just dont feel like it. It's like a board game, you think it will be boring, but you find yourself loving it sooner or later.
and i just rant on
I know how you feel about the reading, I feel more inclined to write than read, but it'll clear up.
As for the ideas, if you want to talk to me here or via Steam, feel free. I might be able to bounce ideas back and forth.
My big worry going forward with writing/reading is I'm afraid I'll pollute the well, so to speak. Sure, every story is derivative in it's own way, but if i see something cool in a story i start thinking of new ways to spin off of it. I would much prefer to keep writing without this being an issue with my reading as well, but I'm not sure i can. It still remains important to read as you learn newer and better ways to do things.
I wish i had a good answer to give you.
Keep on keeping on.
