Who has the bigger dick contest (Rant) · 8:20pm Apr 1st, 2014
Alright so this is something that pisses me off to no end, and it seems like almost everyone does this.
Every time I talk about exercising, fighting, or martial arts. The person i'm talking to always has to one up me. For instance, let's say I walked a mile that day for some good cardio. I tell the person about it and they go "I used to run 3 miles a day, no problem."
Or say i'm talking about martial arts and I say "I learned a new technique to break your wrist, it's pretty cool." They go "It's like impossible to break my wrist, it's really thick and I've had people try."
What makes it worse, is that how awesome you are is not even related to the topic. They always just have to turn it into a Who Has the Bigger Dick contest.
Hell even sometimes i'll try to counter and point out how stupid their boasting is. Let's go back to the wrist thing, "Yeah but if you're on the ground and your wrist is bent, it doesn't matter who you are it's going to break." They go "Yeah well, i'm bigger than you so that wouldn't happen in the first place."
It just becomes a giant circlejerk to boost their ego. I wish I could have one conversation with someone where I can just talk to someone about something I've learned or accomplished without them having to go on about how great they are or used to be and maybe just discuss the subject at hand like a normal person should.
Also the whole health thing in the last blog? I've got most of it under control. There's just a few things i'm still having to take care of.
P.S. I may make another blog today talking about said martial arts since I haven't mentioned it before.
Hooray for health, atleast.
I, for one, am a wimp, and tend to exaggerate my wimpiness. So I'll probably say that I sit at home all day, and my only accomplishment is not gaining weight.
My rant is bigger than yours!
