So I haven't been on the site for a good long while, and I apologize for that, but there's a reason, and I will say this as a warning and a piece of advice:
If you have a computer from 2001 and you're still using it as your main computer, GET RID OF IT AND UPGRADE!!!
That's what I ended up having to do because the computer that I was using just decided that it didn't want to run the Internet Browser anymore (I use Torch). Ran Skype just fine, to an extent, but anything related to the Browser sent my computer into Bluescreen Hell to be raped by IE's schizophrenic ghost while Chrome, Bing, Safari and Opera all sit, point and laugh like a hierarchical circus of ill-bred nobles stewing in their own money and societal refuse.
The life and times of the Noblesse Oblige aside, I've upgraded to an HP 500-164 and will be on the site much more from now on, so feel free to ask me for edit and proofreading work if the notion tickles your fancy, you wanna leave a reply to a comment I posted saying that my opinion doesn't amount to a sack of potatoes (which I will promptly laugh at and delete), or you just wanna say "Hi"! 
TL;DR:
I'm back, my computer doesn't suck the sack of the gods and I'm better than ever.
Remember, I'm pullin' for ya. We're all in this together.
