Sunflower update - chapter delay · 11:04pm May 20th, 2012
There will be a delay on this chapter. I apologize for that, this one is... well, it's difficult. I got really, really stuck on it, in more than one spot.
What I'll probably do is combine this week's and part of next week's chapters together, making a bigger chapter, and taking the extra time to work out a few kinks in how things are going. So, again, I apologize for the delay, but there is no way this chapter is anywhere near ready right now, and I don't think it will be for days, yet.
Also, a funny story from last week, at work. My spell-checker saved my bacon by stopping me from sending out an email addressed to my entire department with the word "everypony" in it.

Ah, I could see where that would indeed be somewhat embarrassing.
If you would like any help with your story, I'd be more than happy to lend whatever assistance you want. People usually bounce ideas off of me all the time, and from what I've seen it generally helps.

Oh Luna, I wouldn't know whether to be mortified or laugh myself out of my chair if I did that. I already have one of those Twilight Sparkle "READ" posters up by my desk, so I'd probably be just okay enough with it to do both at once. And would my face be red.
I'm sure the next chapter will be well worth the wait. And likewise to Basilisk Hack above, if it's ever a matter that can be helped by bouncing ideas off another, feel free to engage me in a brainstorming session.
It was a narrow save, that's for sure. Not sure if I could have lived it down... my department is actually close to a hundred people.
On the other hand, it would have been a truly excellent way to flush out my fellow bronies at work. I'll let someone else take that hit, though
Naturally, as soon as I gave up on trying to publish today, and the pressure came off, I suddenly resolved a couple of the blocks I was having. Not soon enough to get a story out right now, but still, I'm progressing much faster right now.
So, yeah, on the way to a larger chapter next weekend. Thanks for your patience, everypo... er... everyone!

Not gonna lie, I'm pretty sad I won't get my weekly fix of Project Sunflower tonight, but it'll be worth it when the bigger chapter comes out! Take as long as you need to keep up the high quality
I can relate. I actually slipped up when I meant to reference Camelot and said Canterlot instead at one point.
