Returned from an ancient hiatus to post some EAW work.
I've established in ~this canon~ that most alicorns (Cadence? who cares) have some sort of a rage-mode alter ego.
Celestia, as we saw, has Solar Flare.
Luna has Nightmare Moon, as we all well know.
Twilight has... I dunno.
At the moment I'm using 'Purple Shade' as a working name. Hecka open to suggestions.

Erm. Out of left field. Apoplectic Rune. Tried to the think of a synonym for angry and magic...not as easy as one would think actually. Solar Flare and Nightmare Moon both seem to relate to Celestia/Lunas particular element -- the sun and moon but I can't really think of much that relates to magic as an element.=\
Burning Dawn.
She's already turned white and gained a mane of fire in the show. Dawn is opposite twilight, and while both burning and sparkling are varying lights only burning is inherently destructive.
Swapping the order from time-light to light-time completes the inversion, and reads better.
