    Heart š¯„˛Beatsā™«: Small Delay

Heart š¯„˛Beatsā™« will, unfortunately, be delayed by one week for a variety of reasons:

    1. I'm attending my grandma's funeral on 7/21/2018 (when the story is slated to update)
    2. Chapter 8 is the prelude to a pivotal point in the story, and I need more time to set the scene just right

How Do You Do, Fellow Kids?

Not even going to apologize for my absence. You all should know by now that I tend to take sudden, quiet breaks for great lengths of time. But, yet again, I'm back. Still gaining followers after all these years? The fuck, guys.

    Update

Hey, guys. No, don't fear: I'm not dead and not going back on my word to disappear for another 3 years (for real, this time). Rather, finals are kicking up and I started a YouTube. Additionally, I'm trying to figure out how to get these next few chapters to flow as smoothly as I want them; some pretty bug stuff coming up in

Hello. · 4:30am Mar 21st, 2014

Wow, it's been a while since I've actually done something on this site. Darkest Darkness will still be worked on, but I'm primarily job searching now, so I don't really have a lot of time to do stuff except brainstorm.

It was during one of these brainstorming sessions, late at night, when I had to be up early tomorrow for an important interview (like, right fucking now, actually), that I came up with, what I believe to be, a brilliant idea: I've always wanted to do a Choose Your Own Adventure type of thing, but wanted it to be heavily interactive. I tried to do that with a Story of the Blanks story, but ultimately scrapped it because I had forgotten the plot.

Meanwhile, I had to stop writing The Darklands because of some pointless shipping my brain decided to throw in there, but I began to wonder why I even put it in there in the first place.

And thus was born CYOA: The Darklands. The overall plot will remain the same (and therefore secret to all but me to avoid suggestion spoilers), but I want a story that lets the reader submit what they want to see the character do next, like a text-adventure game from way back when (I loved those, except when I got the dreaded "COMMAND NOT RECOGNIZED" text).

So, what do you guys (or whoever even follows this relatively dead account) think? Would it survive? Would it prosper? Do you guys want me to actually be productive for once?
