I require a new editor · 4:48pm Mar 17th, 2014
Due to time issues on their own part, my previous editor (the ever-illustrious xIMPERSONATORx) has chosen to retire, and I wish them all the best.
However, this means I will be needing a new editor. If anyone would be interested in doing so, then please don't hesitate to send me a message! I would really appreciate it.
Also, you'll be pleased to hear the next chapter of HM is coming along nicely. I have the plot all laid out and about a third of it is written down. Shouldn't be too long now.
I can help you out. pm me if you're interested.
I offer my services good mortal.
I wouldn't mind either, if you're still recruiting.

Thank you all for the interest!
I'm currently looking through quite a few applications (a phrase I never thought I'd say in relation to talking technicolour horses what) so if you have any particular experience in editing or have anything you'd like to brag about, now would be the time.
Not that's it's any skin off of your teeth, though. You are doing this for purely altruistic reasons after all (for which I am grateful)
I did a bit of editing for someone a few years ago. Can't remember the story name, the author just stopped contacting me. Think he may have given up.

I edited that book. It was a right pain in the arse, considering the author, a good friend, otherwise I'd have abandoned it, wanted it done in a comic book style, and yet decided to write it as a novel, but I managed it. Click the book cover to open a preview and see part of the actual writing.
Any choppiness or obvious grammar errors are the author's wishes. He wanted to use it to build the character's personality
1935959 I got A's in English class if that counts. Heh. I'm not a high school student or anything. Twenty years old, bored, and willing to offer my time. Also, I edited a story for a friend of mine, but she canned it and started it from scratch again. Apparently she didn't like the way it was going. So yeah. I'm not some grammar professor or a professional, just quite good at spotting errors.
