"I Quit!" Follow-up review. · 7:13pm Mar 13th, 2014
Good morning/evening/day-or-night times peeps and peoples! Let me be the first tot say that you're awesome, and don't you forget it!
I suppose you are wondering what this post is for. Well, I have decided to make a follow up for each of my stories as a sort of "here's how I did" type deal. This is an entirely personal thing, and it will happen one week after every story I publish.
So let's get right into it!

Let me put this as eloquently as I possibly can.
Holy.
Fucking.
Shit.
That is pretty much how I feel right now. The sheer amount of interest I Quit! has gotten has practically blown my mind. I would have considered a few favorites and 30 thumbs up a passing grade. Instead, I Quit! went practically 325+ between down votes, and the sheer number of favorites was just staggering.
I just want to thank all of you for reading my little story. It has made the numerous hours spent writing this all the worth it, and the numerous hours spent away from it for fear of failure completely pointless and silly.
While I Quit! has indeed been met with resounding success, I would be lying to myself that I expect my next story (or any story thereafter) to encounter the same. I'm still new to writing in general, so I can only hope the subject material I choose helps me until I actually get some skill under my belt.
A word of caution, however; I cannot, and most likely will not, write fast or update consistently. These stories are written by me, for me. If you like it, then that makes it all the sweeter. If you don't, then there's an entire site around you that should have the stories that you want.
To everybody who favorited, commented on, helped me correct, and enjoyed my story; I say, thank you. With all my heart, thank you.
And to the two people who gave I Quit! its thumb downs; I thank you as well. You both have taught me that no matter how much success I obtain, I can never reach perfection, and that's a-ok in my book.
