How to progress

Well, it's been nearly a fortnight since i released the first chapter of my story, and with a like/dislike of 4/1 it certainly could have been worse.
Unfortunately, i'm really lacking in comments regarding which direction the story should take, and so i'm presented with a bit of a dialema. Do i;
A. Continue waiting / advertising in the hope that at least one peron makes a vote.
B. Scrap the voting system all together.
C. Carry the story on until someone votes on a choice at the end.

I think i'm erring towards the last option, as i find it unlikely that the story will gain any more attention than it already has, and scrapping the choice aspect would completely throw the core idea of the story out of the window.
I think the best thing to do is to keep making chapters, and if no-one has voted on the outcome by the time I am satisfied that the next chapter is ready, i will mould it to my own direction and publish it.

With any luck, seeing a story that has actually updated will bring in some more views and hopefully some readers who want to engage in the story, but at the very least it wouldn't stop me from writting and enjoying trying to forge a world of my own. Fingers crossed that it turns out alright though, i think i'd preffer it if i knew that my writting was terrible than carry on completely aware of my inability :P
