Why my writing style is so sick and twisted · 6:18am Feb 25th, 2014
Okay, so fair warning, this is also going to be a shamelessly self-promoting blog post
Now that we have boring warnings out of the way, I feel like this really does need an explanation.
It all started with my fic "Pinkie's Secret" (If you haven't read it yet, go check it out here)
I saw the picture that is now the cover picture for Pinkie's Secret and decided to write something along those lines. Then I watched the episode "Too Many Pinkies" and I thought 'Well wht if some of them escaped?' and then remembered Cupcakes and, well, Pinkie's Secret happened.
Anyway, I've written and am in the process of editing a new fic titled "For Science" that was inspired by this picture:
It's about as sick and twisted as Pinkie's Secret was, if not more, and I decided to give you all an explanation as to why since I think I figured it out.
Pinkie's Secret happened the way I just described above, and while being unproductive and looking at pony stuff on Facebook, I decided I wanted to write another one.
I couldn't come up with any good ideas until I came across this picture though:
And I literally had this conversation with myself:
"Hmm, the mane 6 really have seemed to be portrayed as crazy up til now"
"Maybe I can use that for my writing!"
"Hmm, I've done something Pinkamina/Pinkie related"
"How can I make one of the other mane 6 look insane?"
And that question is now how I come up with fic ideas: "How can I make one of the mane 6 look crazy?"
I'm trying to think of how I can make maybe Fluttershy snap next.
Anyway, feel free to leave me comments on ideas of how to make the mane 6 snap. I could be convinced to do some stories on background ponies if I'm particularly inspired by somepony's suggestion, but I'm focusing on ideas for the mane 6 for now. If you don't want to give me ideas, let us know how you come up with ideas for stories!

For Fluttershy may I suggest instead of torturing her friends and killing them... Make her turn on her animals? The constant taking care of them has to wear on her. Or ya know, do a fic where she feeds some ponies to her carnivorous friends. But those sort of things have been done before... Mmm...
With Applejack you can make her greedy and obsessed with money.
1877706 Yeah, I was thinking something along the lines of turning on the animals for Fluttershy. The second idea though, I think that may have given me an idea
