For some reason, I don't know how or why, I ended up finding myself listening to Queen's Fat Bottomed Girl:

That damn chorus...

And while listening to it, the hammer of inspiration hit me harder than Ronan's hammer hitting Ravenous' face.

Okay, hear me out!

Snail always had a crush on Diamond Tiara, but he never found enough courage to confess to her. Until Snails hears Diamond Tiara talking with Silver Spoon about her gaining some weight, and how she hated that.

Snails, being the simple colt he is, is left dumbfounded that Diamond would think that she would ever stop being beautiful. So Snails formulates a plan to lift Diamond Tiara spirits and also confess his love to her. All at the school's talent show that's just a few weeks far.

If you read my story 'What's so Wrong in Having Some Fun?' then you know that in my headcannon Snail's dad is a retired musician. So Snails enlisted the help of his dad who calls his old band partners. They spend all the time until the show creating the song and teaching Snails how to sing. And then at the show they rock out like never before! Making everypony there, the children, the adults, Miss Cheerille, rocking out with them!

Of course at first Diamond Tiara doesn't like the song, especially since it was written to her, but then the real message of the song hits her! And so she rocks out alongside everypony else.

And once the show is over, which of course Snails won, Diamond Tiara goes to Snails and thanks him for the song before giving him a peek on the cheek.
