Let me tell you the tale of courage.
Courage was the one that forged ahead, unwilling to let the dangers or the unknown stop them.
Courage was the one that welcomed fear as an old friend, traveling alongside across the world.
Courage was the one that was willing to make mistakes, and willing to admit to them.
Courage was the one that listened to criticism, but held to their beliefs.
Courage was the one that never gave in, but picked themselves back up every time.
Courage felt pain. Courage felt loss. Courage felt sorrow. Courage felt betrayed. Courage felt abandoned.
But Courage welcomed challenge, and grew to inspire all those around them.
Courage was gentle. Courage was sympathetic. Courage was cheerful. Courage was forgiving. Courage was always there.
Courage was our friend. If you see Courage, please be kind to them in our stead.
Goodbye, Courage. We'll miss you.
I really feel there's some critical context that's gone now, years after the fact. Ah, well.
