    Update on Never Alone

For those wondering why I haven't updated Never Alone in a hot minute, I've been co-writing an entire arc of Never Alone with the estimable-if-poorly-named Cackling Moron. Said arc is now complete, and is composed of nearly 48,000 words. Now that I've completed work on that, I'll be resuming regular updates to Never Alone until we

    Cheesy cripes, I'm back!

Figured I'd just drop a blog post on this, but yeah, I'm back. Updating Never Alone again. Figured I'd just see how many of y'all are still following me and feel like chatting up while I wait for alpha-reads on my newest chapters so I can post them.

    A note on politics

I don't have that many followers, and I almost never blog. I tend to focus my activism elsewhere. But this is a point in history where people are looking for support as our country is rocked by tumultuous events, and I don't want anyone following me to feel left out in the cold. I am tired, and this will be quite rambling, so don't expect any eloquence from me today.

    A Very Cozy Sequel

For those of you who favorited The Hero: Cozy Glow...? sometime back and don't follow me, I wanted to give you a heads-up that there is now a sequel tying that story and The Mirror together. Check out the Cozy Hero Hub blogpost for details.

...Er. Huh. Over 77 kilowords all at once. It, ah, might be a while before I get through that, sorry. I can get through that many words in under a day if the right conditions align, but, well, they're aren't for tonight, at least, and I'm not sure when they next will; more likely I'll be taking it in pieces over a longer timespan, and I have little idea how long.

If you don't mind me asking, why did you choose to release it like this? It's not complete (or, at least, it's still marked as Incomplete), so that wasn't it (unless it actually is complete), but the earliest chapter is timestamped as being uploaded the on the thirteenth. Were you waiting for the Sunset's Isekai chapter to come out?

I was waiting for Isekai, yeah, since that ties The Mirror and this fic together directly. And it's fine that it will be a while before you can read it; I just hope you enjoy it when you do, and get something out of it.

This thing has been a nightmare to right so far. 10k words per day, and that's just the start of it. The stuff it gets into is often drawn from my own life, and sometimes it's miserable to revisit. Still, I hope what I make out of it is uplifting.

Ah, thanks.

And thanks and thanks. :)
I do expect it will be good. :)

Ah; I'm sorry to hear that, though.

Indeed! Good luck to you on that, and anyone who finds comfort, or other beneficial things, in your words.
