Concerning Micheal Morones · 12:34am Jan 31st, 2014
I'm sure almost all of you have heard about him by now but if not here is the story.
I absolutely cannot believe how much negative feedback I've heard from the fandom about this. Yes, I understand that the majority of the fandom supports the recovery fund, but its sickening to read the many comments posted across the internet by those who don't. They've called him a pussy, weak, said he shouldn't even be alive, and wished he would've just died. Yes those comments were made by people who consider themselves to be bronies. Are you fucking kidding me? He's an 11 year old boy. Why would anyone say that? I understand that this fandom is in no way perfect and never will be and that not everyone believes in its morals and "love and tolerance," but can they at least be a caring and considerate human beings? Its people like them that forced him to consider and then attempt to take his life in the first place and that is of course completely wrong.
People say that the only reason he is being supported is because he's a brony. No, that's not true. We as a fandom would've supported anyone who came to us for help, brony or not. That's just who we are. But why does that even matter anyways, he is a young boy that needs help. That's it. Period. I'm also sure their attitudes would be much different if said victim was closer to home, right? What if it was someone like your son, brother, nephew or friend? You wouldn't be calling them a pussy and saying they don't deserve your support would you? What I'm getting at is that his family asked us as a collective whole for help and instead they hear their son called names and made fun of even further. How would you feel if it was the other way around? You ask a fandom which you've heard is very supportive, caring, and generous to those in need and one that your son is a part of for help and that's the response?
Over this past year the public view on our fandom has changed very greatly. Instead of some strange, perverted subculture, we are now mainly looked at as a source of inspiration. Inspiration that the world is truly changing for the better. Not only are we showing the world that not everything has to be categorized into blue and pink, but we are also making people think that the world may not actually be full of heartless, selfish bastards after all and there are those that can actually make a difference. Fuck, we aren't perfect, but isn't that what its all about? No one is and we support being different, right? Then why the fuck are so many sticking with the masses on this one and calling this attempted suicide weak just like everyone else calls every other suicide/attempted suicide? It's a real problem and not something that should be ignored or for this matter, made worse. Why should anyone have to put up with being bullied so much that they would rather take their life than live another day in this world because of their personal interests? Why are so many of us not standing up for such a simple human right especially since many of us have gone through the same exact thing?
I honestly don't mind if in the future the fandom is remembered for the 'bad' things like clop and the likes, but I really hope its remembered for the inspiration and hope it brought as well, not just another sick sect of trolling idiots that spawned on the internet.
I'm done...for now

How many times did I say fuck in this rant? I know there were a lot of fucks given.
you make vary valid points, I still prefer to stay neutral on the subject.
Please do pardon my ignorance, and I sincerely apologize if this is information that every Brony should know, but who exactly is Micheal Morones? I thought at first he was the boy who spent one day with his idol, Batman, but that is apparently not the case?
I am sorry for not knowing much on the subject, but this has been popping up a bit on my YouTube 'What To Watch', and the vids don't explain much to me. Might you shed some simple light on the matter?

Did you check out the link at the top?

Oh...
Well, I apologize for wasting your time. Did not see the link there. XD
Sorry for being a retard. I'll leave you be, now.
Once again, my apologies.

No, its okay, the green is kind of hard to see sometimes since its so dark and pretty much looks black. Also don't call yourself such names. Just say you derped instead. Much nicer and cuter than the other.
1776389 I wish to put forward an old project of mine to help raise awareness of this horrific event. I worked on this a while ago when three other Bronies lost their lives to bullying. You may be interested to hear that Pizzy1334 participated in the poster as well. Everyone had to put up their avatars, and leave a few words of wisdom and motivation.
I'll pass it on to you. Maybe you can use it to raise awareness and show others they're not alone. Writing in the bottom corner was from me, but there weren't enough room for my avatar.

Yes, she actually showed me that picture, just didn't know what it was for exactly. That poster is exactly what I love to see It's the kind of bronies like you that keep me hopeful.
Wow, just wow.
I have to admit that I haven't heard the story by now
and this is horrible!
I can only hope his famlily somehow reads this,
if only to show them not the entire fandom is hateful
