I've given some thought to what it is I want out of posting to FIM Fiction, and I realize that I just want feedback to the stories I write. My friends (who don't have FIM Fiction accounts, sadly) all seem to enjoy my stories, so the feedback from everypony else identifies how far removed from the rest of society I really am.
Seriously, I couldn't be a part of more special-interest groups if I tried.
My Little Pony is the best thing that's happened to me. Before now, creativity was something I did at work using code. Now I write, craft, host, and create. I know there are haters out there, even in the MLP community, so it is in this way that I must thicken my skin.
In other news, I'm finishing up the last chapters of the Standards of Courtship. I need to break myself of my habit of going back to earlier chapters before releasing the whole thing. If I focus on short, quick bursts of writing, I think I will learn more. Therefore, once the Standards of Courtship is finished, I'll move on to one-shot stories.
