A Little Celebration · 2:25am Jan 24th, 2014
As I'm sitting down to write this, I notice the nameplate on my dress uniform has a lost a frog (a damnit, for you Army guys), and it's now hanging down at ninety degrees, but that's not a big deal, since I'm at home and on FIMFiction! And I noticed something! This page is up to 2000 story views. I'm not going to freak out, but I will probably have a beer and smile. After all, it's been a grand total of two thousand times now that someone has opened a chapter of my (or Vermy's) fics now (even if they never read that). That really does mean something to me, because I never could have imagined it. Thank you all, and I hope you continue to read.

On that note, I'm back to the style I started out with, writing 6-10k words a chapter, and each one takes me a while around college, military life, and everything else. Here's an update in the meantime. I have the next chapter of 'Wasted Honor' half done, and a future chapter completely finished (but I'm not publishing out of order). Also, I've started a MUCH bigger project, with my editor Dizziestbeef, but also with several other friends in the fandom. It's still incubating, but I will shout it from the rooftops when it gets here.
-Sage
In addition to what Sage has written, I am happy myself to see that our hours have not gone unnoticed by those who happen across our little haven. I would also like to send my regards to Sage, in congratulations on his commissioning day drawing ever closer. Here's to you my friend!
For other news, the last month has been rather obscenely busy, with my unit working strange hours, coupled with my having taken leave. Therefore Life Has A Volume Knob's update will be pushed back to Early to middle February. The other Fics that I mentioned are still on schedule, and as soon as I am done with LHAVK's new chapter, will be finishing editing the prologue to Unsung, not Forgotten, as well as the opening pages to The Lunar Chronicles, both of which will debut in early summer 2014.
Thanks for sticking with it and keep on coming back! We'll always be writing regardless, because frankly, we love writing.
Fair winds and following seas to all,
-V. DeLuna.
