Sunset Shimmer and Equestria Girls

By now, I think all of you have either seen Equestria Girls or have heard the basic description. If you haven't then I advise not reading any further.

So, I have watched the movie a few times, it's not really bad. I enjoyed it. It was a nice refresher during the long intermission from season 3 to 4. Now, if you all are going to moan and be like, "Oh, but it was so bad! It can't be considered canon!" Just stop right there. Basically all this show boils down to is geared towards little girls. The animation, while very good, will never be perfect. There will always be mistakes, but we just look past them and enjoy the show.

This movie was not meant for most of the people on this site. It was meant for little girls. Does that mean we can't enjoy it? No, of course not. We can all enjoy the show, with little to no hate from others in the fandom. That's what's so great about the MLP community.

So back to the movie, I'm a teenage girl, so you think I could relate to the movie? Actually not really. I mean there are groups, but this was just basically another chick flick type movie. Yeah, not much more.

OH WAIT

Both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were under the spell of Sunset Shimmer. (If you watch the movie they will be in the bottom left corner when the spell is being taken off of them) So if we can assume that a human going through the portal will turn into a pony, Sunset Shimmer has just brought copies of the two most powerful alicorn into Equestria under her control. She can control them and do whatever she wants (theoretically). Also all of those students would turn into ponies, and some of them are bound to become unicorns who can use magic.

Do you see what I'm getting at here?

So to wrap this up, Sunset Shimmer is a genius. End of story. The movie was still mediocre though. Helping Twilight Win the Crow was an awesome song.
