The Equestria Games

Well.... i did and did not like this episode. We've been waiting more than a YEAR to see some Equestria Games action and what do we get? A Spike episode about him moping and we see two events. TWO EVENTS!!

We saw Rainbow Dash and co. get second place surprisingly enough, and an ice arrow thing. Like... really? All this hype for the games and we barely se any of it. I know all the Spike fans were probably drooling over the fact that there were two Spike episodes in a row.

Yeah, I was not one of them. I personally (and I'm going to get hate for this) am not a fan of Spike. He had a whole episode dedicated to the fact that he is useless. I mean he has some good lines sometimes, but for the most part i don't really care for him.

But getting back to the episode, i really would have liked to have seen a lot more of the games and some of the other events.

Some side notes: I thought it was really interesting how they negated unicorn magic, but the pegasi still could fly so I mean they probably should have done something about that. Also the whole thing Cadence said about going back in time? Twilight went back in time, so its possible. The correct thing to say would be, that it would be irresponsible to go back in time for selfish reasons, not blatantly lie to him. I mean Cadence might not know about the spell, but eh...
