Hey guys! As most of you have probably noticed, Cheated Dreams was released last night. I gave it 24 hours, and... it's not doin' well compared to some of my other stories. It didn't even make it to the popular stories list, which I have hit with the last, like, 5 fics. Anyway, minor complaint, I did forget to add it to the Twidash group so as soon as I do that I should get a few more viewers.
Anyway, The next chapter should be out in a day or two. I want to pump these out fast and keep the readers interested. I'm also going to start posting little bits of my thoughts on a chapter in the A/N and what I feel has happened in that chapter.
Anyway, just a blog to let any of you who missed it know it's up, and to please go check it out if you have time.
Until it updates,

The best time to release a new fic is on a weekday between 1600 and 2100; it maximizes exposure on the site, when you can't rely on a high amount of watchers. You should also ensure that you throw your fic into every single group that it has anything incommon with—if it garners even a single view, then it was worth it.
The meta game is difficult to play, and if you don't know how to advertise, it's damn near impossible. However, it's not always a reliable source of quality or skill. Remember that.

I don't really care about popularity. Of course, like any one else I enjoy getting views and favorites on my fics, but I won't go out of my way to do so.I won't delay a fic another couple hours because I want to post it at the best time. Besides, it's an awesome feeling to check your story and see that someone else thought it was good enough to add to a group so that more people can see it.
I was just a little surprised I didn't make it the popular stories list in the first 24 hours, which I've been able to reliably hit the past couple stories. Though I did hit it earlier today, after adding it to the Twdiash group.
