Love and tolerance...Oh, and rules, too.

I'm really starting to like this blog thing. -w-

Anywho, down to business: A user ((http://www.fimfiction.net/user/Commander%20Ponysun)) has been spewing hate around against furries and cursing in comment sections. While I am a furry, this is not the reason I'm proposing what is described later on. No user should have to go through any form of cyberbullying, and the moderators don't seem to care. I've lost all respect for authority figures in general, so I thought 'why not try and become a good one myself?". And that's just what I'm going to do. Below are a list of rules that I propose Knighty take into deep consideration and hopefully implement. This will help keep the site clean and user friendly (even with the mature search filter, users can still come across content such as Commander Ponysun's comments).

1. No harassment of any kind. Users have no right to bully others for any reason. If you are having a bad day, please step away from your computer until you calm down.

2. No cursing in the comments section of any user page or story. Cursing is fine in stories as long as a warning is given. Remember, not everyone on this site is an adult, and not every kid is OK with the words we use on a daily basis. For now, the words "buck" and the like are allowed.

3. Tolerance: Not everyone in the world has the same ideals. If you see another user talking about something you are opposed to or disagree with, either ignore it or politely state your disagreement and request that the subject be dropped (if it's on a private place such as your user page).

4. DO NOT FEED THE PARASPRITES. If you are confused as to what I'm referring to, they are trolls. If you are still confused, trolls are users online who purposely cause harm for someone else, usually by posting or talking about things they don't like. By "do not feed", I mean don't comment, reply, or even acknowledge a troll. They cannot be reasoned with and can only cause harm for you.

5. Do your best to stay cheery. While this rule will not be enforced, users are encouraged to cheer up other users if they can. FimFiction.net is a happy place where people can read what makes them even happier. When unhappy, it is common for people to seek out people/places that usually bring them happiness; FimFiction.net can be one of those places. Unhappiness isn't always a good thing and can lead to thoughts and/or acts of suicide in extreme cases. It is crucial to properly interpret (as hard as that is online) behavior and take the necessary actions to keep people from killing themselves. If a user is not displaying signs of suicidalness, and just plain unhappy, then become Pinkie Pie; sad ponies are the worst possible thing!
