#2: Three for Three, and G Two, Too · 6:30pm Jan 5th, 2014
First it was the Las Pegasus Tribune, then it was Equestria Daily, and now The Country of Roses has officially obtained triple-threat status with its feature on Canterlot's Finest, which itself recently celebrated achieving 50,000 views! For those who are not aware, Canterlot's Finest is a website run by Fimfiction's own Alexstrazsa, and is specifically dedicated to highlighting fan-labours like prose and comic strips. It never ceases to amaze me how well my story is getting circulated, and I hope this will bring in more fantastic readers like the ones I have. The ones who give meaningful feedback and do their best to help me improve for the sake of our shared enjoyment.
In unrelated but equally great news, my friend Codex received a copy of Guild Wars 2 for Christmas, and has now become a member of my guild, the Ka-Tet of the Lake. She's been recording some of her play sessions with me, Bed Head and non-Fimfiction member Hikari, which can be perused below. She's been out of the YouTube Let's Playing game for a few months now, but is making an effort to get back in. She certainly deserves some more views, so watch her videos, laugh at her antics, and show her some love. If that's not possible, I'm informed she also accepts offers of gold, gemstones and sacrificial virgins. Fruit baskets are an option, provided they don't contain bananas.
WARNING: some swearing.

Finally, the next chapter of The Country of Roses is well underway, and I've even had ideas for a sequel, but I won't say too much, only that it will expand the universe established in Roses significantly and focus on both Peacemaker's group as well as some other characters. My friends have been great for the idea-bouncing sessions, and I've rediscovered exactly how therapeutic fan-fiction can be for my original work as well.
So far 2014 A.D.'s been pretty cool, so here's to the rest of the year being just as brilliant.
