    One Point Away!!!

God, this makes me so frustrated!

One point. One f*cking point away from being in the top five most accurate marksmen in my parish! Aaaaagh! Damn it! I guess next year I can just place first and redeem myself. But god damn it that's frustrating. ONE POINT!

    Paintball!

This Saturday I will be participating in my favorite past time, scenario paintball.

For those of you who don't know what that is here's a picture from the last game I attended.

If you don't know what paintball is or have never played, shame.

I think I'm handling it well. I can't join the army anymore, but that won't keep me out of engineering. The diet will he hard to get used to, but at least the shots are painless. And I qualify for disabilities payments now!

As far as my writing goes I plan to start up on that again. I have a few ideas.

I'm out of the hospital now... But I still have diabetes.

I blame ponies.

But I still love them so!:pinkiesad2:

1808599 If I had to blame something... I'd agree with you.

But hey, it's ponies. ;D

Also, glad to hear everything's going alright then. C:

No offence but the army is never the way to go if you can help it, I mean I know you're helping your country etc etc but at the end of the day unless you make it to some high rank after many years. Both my Grandad and Dad were in the same RAF Squadron (but at different times) and also were in the army at some point and they both urged me to never do it. I mean I'm a coward and I have terrible OCD so I wouldn't do it anyway but even so you effectively get paid a regular wage no better than anything else to be ready to have to go to some country probably for a reason that is injust to have a chance of yourself getting blown up, and that's not fun at all. I know a low of people have a dream to join the army and whatever but honestly it's probably better as a dream even if it won't be fulfilled.

And on a side note there is not a chance in hell I'd ever pass the fitness x). 44 press-ups in two mins x) I can't even do 1 in forever! Damn genetics, I even do swimming too and have no muscle at all and I'm 18 :D

I was going to go in as an enineer officer, which get paid pretty handsomely. But really, I just like the way the military does things. The order, regulations, and structure, I live for that kind of thing.

1820437 Strange that diabetes means you can't fix stuff?

1823724 Aren't Engineer officers the ones who fix things?

1823735
They coordinate the other engineers to build things, fix things, and blow shit up.

My sister actually has Type I Diabetes, been living with it for years now. Once you get used to the change and monitoring your blood sugar, it's really not a big deal. You can definitely move on to a long, normal, happy life.
