This last Friday, I was diagnosed with type one diabetes. I've been in the hospital for a few days now while the doctors have been trying to find the best way to treat my condition. My family and friends have been visiting and wishing their best.
I think I'm handling it well. I can't join the army anymore, but that won't keep me out of engineering. The diet will he hard to get used to, but at least the shots are painless. And I qualify for disabilities payments now!

Remember how I said I was revising the story. Well, the revised version came out so different that it's not even really the same story. But, on the bright side, I am much, much more pleased with the new version and it should be posted soon if I decide to go with it.
