A quick promotion from me. For these kinds of events, I usually save the promotion for the end of the month, but in this case, since I'm not an editor for it and the author is fairly new on the scene, I'll make an exception.
Cillerenda comes to us with The Alternate Life of Sparkler No-Last-Name for Alternate Universe Month. Is it good? I wouldn't be promoting it here if it wasn't. In all seriousness, I think it safe to say that many of us were impressed by the story.
As the name implies, this is the alternate universe to the Winningverse where Sparkler never got happily adopted. Follow her as she barely scraps together a living as winter approaches.
Personally, I like Sparkler in this story.
